Working on Writing: 

  • Is your name on your paper? Is it in the correct place?

  • Are you starting on the front side of your paper? Are the holes of the notebook paper on the left side and the wide space at the top. 

  • Did you use the red and blue lines of the paper to set up your writing properly? 

  • If it's a list did your number correctly and space between lines? 

  • Did you read what you wrote before you hand it in? 

  • Are all of your sentences complete thoughts?

  • Did you check punctuation? 

  • Did you check spelling? 

  • Did you restate the question or have a topic sentence? 

  • If it's a paragraph is it a complete paragraph? 

What Needs Done at Home: 

  • Check your planner

  • Check your read folder

  • Read for AR  - 4th Grade Goal is 35 points 

  • Study spelling, vocab

  • Study math 

  • Study for assessments

  • Stay organized

  • Get rest

  • Take time to be with your family and share what you're doing at school. 

Study from your E-Book or hard cover book. 

Use Think Central at home and check your test record and more.

Students can earn one certificate per month and to earn the certificate they must earn  2 AR points for the month, (it was 5 AR points and we lowered it but they need to be reading AR). Points from previous months don't count for Book It. The accumulated amount will be counted for the end of the year AR reward.
